What ZCode can and can't see

A plain account of what's private today and what isn't yet.

   Payments

   Shielded top-ups don't reveal your wallet to anyone, including us. We see the amount and which session it tops up.

   Your identity

   No account, email or card. Your session is a random key in your browser.

   Your chats

   Stored in your browser, and backed up encrypted with a key that never leaves your device.

   Your questions

   Hidden from ZCode's server: your browser encrypts them to an enclave it has verified. The enclave decrypts them to answer, so you're trusting its hardware and code.

   Your network

   Like any website, our server sees your IP address unless you use a VPN or Tor.
